Okay, so please tell me I’m not the only person that goes to an Italian restaurant and is full before my meal even comes!? LOL. First of all, BREAD!! Like WHO thought it would be a good idea to snack on a small loaf of warm bread fresh out of the oven with only the best combination of herbs, spices, and oil before your meal comes… I NEED ANSWERS!! LOL, but seriously though. Okay, now that I’m done being dramatic (lol for now at least) I have the most amazing and simple dipping oil recipe for you guys. This is sure to please your dinner guests or even yourself… IF for whatever reason you want to snack on some while binge watching Netflix and drinking wine… I mean… not that I’ve done that or anything *insert side eye* lol!! Let’s get started…
What You’ll Need…
- 1Tbs Rosemary
- 1Tbs Oregano
- 1Tbs Roasted garlic
- 3Tbs
Grated parmesan cheese - 2Tsp Basil
- 1 1/2Tsp Crushed red pepper flakes
- 1/2Tsp Salt
- 1/2 Tsp Cracked black pepper
Instructions
- Add about a tsp of olive oil to a pan on medium heat. Add garlic and roast until brown. Make sure to stir continuously to avoid burning the garlic.
- Mix all herbs, spices, and roasted garlic in a bowl together.
- Scoop a generous amount of the herb mixture onto a plate and add the desired amount of olive oil.
- Serve with fresh warm bread from your local bakery and ENJOY!
