My Top 5 Kitchen Favorites

Hey guys!! I know it’s been a while since I last wrote a post and to keep it quite honest… life happened and I couldn’t keep up lol… so forgive me, pls!! Lol. Okay, now that we got that cleared up I have some exciting things to share with you today! I’m going to be sharing my top 5 kitchen items that I’m LOVING right now!! I’m so excited about this post because these are things that I literally use on an almost EVERYDAY basis or at least every time I entertain and I meeaannn… if you don’t have them in your collection then what are you even doing girlfriend!? Lol. Just joking but seriously… let’s get into this list!!

1. Marble Cake Stands

Okay so these are one of my favs for sooo many reasons but I’ll just give you one right now… VERSATILITY!! Yes, these cake stands can be used for so many different things. I love using these when I’m hosting parties at my house. The cake stands (white and the marble/wooden stand) are perfect for holding cakes (I mean, obviously lol) and also things like quiche if you’re hosting a brunch not to mention other small desserts like cupcakes and cookies. The marble cake plate (the lower standing of the three) which is also a lazy Susan so it spins, is absolutely great for charcuterie boards. If you checked out my charcuterie board post over the holidays you can substitute the board I used there for one of these as it’s perfect for putting in the middle of a table so that everyone can have access to all sides of it without having to reach over the board!! Love these and another tip is they look great when used together in a setting to add height and dimension to your spread! 

2. Gold Flatware 

You guys!!! This gold flatware from Pier1 is so amazing. This is one of my most favorite pieces that I own, it can literally take an ordinary table setting to the next level. I love pulling these out when I make a nice dinner or do a nice holiday or special occasion tablescape. Each piece of flatware is so inexpensive yet such good quality if I handed you one you would have no idea that I paid such a reasonable price for them because the detail on each piece is AMAZING… not to mention they have a nice weight to them. These are a must have for your collection!!

3. Gold Rimmed Glasses 

So by now I’m sure you can tell I have a thing for all things marble, white, and gold!! Lol, it’s a slight obsession!! So I came across these glasses at HomeGoods and could NOT leave the store without them!! I mean HELLO!!?!? Can we say, Versace much!? Lol!! If you know me you know I love a good cocktail recipe and what better way to elevate a good cocktail than with an amazing glass!! I mean come on would you NOT love to sip your favorite cocktail out of one of these beautiful glasses!?!? Ikr!! Do yourself a favor and add a nice set of glasses with some sort of accent to your collection… although these are probably sold out I’ll link a few other options for you down below!

4. Rose Gold and White Measuring Spoons. 

Omg!!! I know I’ve gotten excited over each piece that I’ve talked about so far so excuse my enthusiasm lol but I love these measuring spoons for so many reasons guys! Let me just start by saying when I saw these in Anthropology I knew I wasn’t leaving without them!! They literally called my name from across the room and demanded my undivided attention!! A bit dramatic but TRUE lol!! They’re so heavy which in my book is a good thing because it indicates quality materials being used… I know I’m a bit old fashioned when it comes to that lol but really! They’re also so gorgeous and shiny I almost love looking at them more than I love using them lol!! They were a bit on the pricier side for measuring spoons but WELL worth the money! 

5. White and Gold Dutch Oven

Okay, so I saved the best for last!! My DUTCH OVEN!!!!! This is hands down my favorite kitchen item BY FAR!!! I literally use this almost every time I cook!! It’s so amazing because you can do everything in one pot from making your sauces, soups, and sautéing to baking things in the oven. It can literally go straight from the stovetop to the oven!! Not to mention it keeps your food warm long after cooking it because the cast iron holds heat so well. Dutch ovens are definitely more pricey but they’re SO worth the money and you can even find them at places like Homegoods and Marshall’s or TJ Max’s for a fraction of the cost. If it’s one piece that I recommend everyone have it would definitely be this!

Welp, that just about wraps up my favorite kitchen items that I’m loving at the moment!! Just a side note… it definitely takes time to build your collection so never feel like you have to have everything at once!
