Hey guys!! I’m coming to you today with a quick yet AMAZING review on a Michigan based, FEMALE owned (um, you go girl!!!), clean, and cruelty free cosmetics and beauty brand!! Sheesh that was a lot of goodness in one sentence. Today we’re taking about Cosmakery!! *insert confetti throw here… because I’m extra like that duh* LOL!! I’m so happy to have partnered with this amazing company to test out some of their products to be able to share with you guys today!! First, can I just say that it was INCREDIBLY hard to choose only three products… seeing how I wanted EVERYTHING on the site!! But… I was able to calm my excitement and choose a few amazing products that I thought would come together for the greater good of the world to create the most GORGEOUS fresh faced “summer-time-fine” look!! lol Don’t judge me… I told you I was extra like that!! So, without further ado… lets get into them!!
COLOR CREAM LIPSTICK IN “BARELY DRESSED”
So I’ll just start out by saying that their cream lippies are sooo smooth and creamy, they feel amazing on your lips!! The formula didn’t feel drying at all to me like a lot of other matte lipsticks. Personally, finding a matte lipstick that is also moisturizing is so important for me. Unfortunately, I’ve been blessed with naturally dry lips (unless I drink water like I’m supposed to lol) otherwise I have to work hard to pull of a matte lip!! I also love the fact that the color is so pigmented so you don’t have to keep adding layer upon layer to make it dark enough. I literally can’t say enough good things about this lipstick!!
GLOSSY LIP FINISH IN “BELAIRE”
Okay THIS stuff is my new go to lipgloss!! Like can I just say this gloss has some serious staying power!!! The formula is thick, which I LOVE because I know it’s going to stay put!! You can dab this on or use a generous swipe depending on the look you’re going for… all you need to know is that this lipgloss is LOYAL lol!! The pigment is perfect as well… it’s deep enough to wear it on its own yet subtle enough to be able to be worn over a lipstick without taking over the look!! Like I said before I have dry lips so I like to always have a good gloss in my bag.
**Quick Tip: I like to carry a good gloss with me when I’m wearing a matte lippie. That way when my lips start to feel a little dry I just tap some gloss onto the center of my lip to give it a luscious plump look and go from matte to semi glossy!!
HIGHLIGHTER IN “SUMMER LOVE”
Listen… I love a good highlighter!! I wear it EVERYDAY!! Idc. idc. IDC… I pile it on because it makes me happy lol!! Like when I walk outside in the sun.. I want my cheekbones to send a direct beam of light through the heavens… I feel kinda like that’s my way of saying good morning to God!! Hahaha but seriously!! Lol I say that, to say this… I know a good highlighter when I see one and THIS. IS. GOOD!! When I say this just glides on like butter and is soooo easy to blend… I almost couldn’t stop applying it!! The color “summer love” is absolutely gorgeous!! I literally think I got butterflies in my stomach when I applied it… like when you first fall in love… yeah, those!! Lol
Now that I’ve given you an overview of each product I have to say I truly love Cosmakery for so many different reasons. I feel like these three products worked so well together to make the most simple yet amazing look, perfect for summer!
